Major Global Life Science Company to Go Live on BPI's GTN Revenue Recognition (R2) Product

Having gone live on January 1st, 2011 with BPI's GTN R2 product, Novartis-Alcon is now entering its 36th month of valuable business return.  In the meantime, another global lifescience manufacture has been working with BPI to enhance BPI's initial GTN offering to include extensive forecasting capabilities, pricing 'what-if' capabilities, AdHoc reporting, and numerous other major enhancements to make BPI the only proven GTN automation product provider.  With its GTN best practice industry group and alliances, BPI's GTN end-to-end product provides its customers with GTN best practice functionality including extensive workflow capabilities that reduce regulatory risk and financial close accuracy and time.

BPI and Deloitte to Co-Present at CBI's 3rd Annual GTN Summit, November 20, 2014 - Philadelphia

Deloitte has teamed with BPI to co-present at CBI's 3rd annual GTN. The subject of their presentation is "GTN and Risk Mitigation - Are Your GTN Capabilities Exposing Your Company to Unacceptable Financial and Regulatory Risk?"  A snapshot of their presentation follows:            "The dollar value significance of gross-to-net adjustments in the Life Sciences Industry varies by entity and product type, and can represent a significant percentage of gross sales.  In the three-year period between 2009-2011, gross-to-net adjustments represented anywhere from 10% to 23% of gross sales for certain pharma manufacturers.  How can your company mitigate the risk of error in these estimates and their respective assumptions?  How can you ensure that the right data has been assembled, calculated and accurately reported?  How can quarterly “surprises" be avoided?  In this presentation, you will hear about how to address issues covering the end-to-end gross-to-net process, enabling decisions that Improve accuracy and integrity of financial reporting." Major Global Medical Device Company Selects BPI's Revenue Management (BPI RM) Product to Replace Its Legacy System

Like the majority of major global medical device manufactures who have legacy contract management and revenue management systems that require extensive support and maintenance. one major company has selected BPI to provide out-of-the-box revenue management functionality with its BPI RM product.  Capabilities will include contract generation and management, chargeback adjudication, GPO and member management, commercial rebate management, and workflow and compliance.

BPI Announces Full Hosting and SaaS Capabilities to Enhance Its On-Premise and 3rd Party Services Offerings

With over 100 life science companies using BPI's Revenue Management (BPI RM) and BPI's GTN Revenue Recognition (BPI R2) products in either the "on-premise" or the 3rd Party Services mode, BPI has added full hosting and SaaS capabilities to ensure that BPI customers have a complete array of environments and offerings to gain the maximum business benefit out of BPI's products.  Given that many prospective BPI customers and clients are requesting the ability to use BPI products in a secure hosted environment, BPI has partnered with Tier 1 hosting  providers giving our customers greatly reduced costs of conventional on-premise implementation and usage.  Also, BPI has embraced the advantages of SaaS for specific BPI product offerings and now offers our customers the opportunity to gain business value from BPI products in a SaaS environment. Novartis-Alcon 30-Month Update Since BPI Gross-To-Net Revenue Recognition (BPI GTN R2) Go-Live

Having gone live on January 1st, 2011 with BPI's GTN R2 product, Novartis-Alcon has reported that, after 2-1/2 years of usage, the BPI GTN automation solution is more than meeting expectations. The BPI GTN automation solution was co-developed with that assistance of Alcon GTN subject matter experts and addresses many of the inefficiencies associated with disparate data sources and manual business processes providing the entire organization a single point solution for accessing critical business data for GTN activities. The primary focus was to greatly improve functional capabilities for the Accounting and Finance groups related to establishing accurate accrual rates and streamlining the reserve adjustment process during close processes. Additionally, “True-Up” and reconciliation processes for GTN deductions have been automated by identifying variances between accruals and payments at the product, customer, deduction and time period. By effectively managing various levels of detail associated accrual and payment information, the BPI R2 product has provided the flexibility to manage the adjustment and reconciliation process differently across each book of business and/or deduction type that aligns to the organization’s gross to net process.
